Leilah Skelton - working with bookshops

A bookseller from Doncaster with enough experience to remember recommending picture books to some customers who are now bending the spines in the teen section. Being part of my community and engaging readers with great books is my passion. In a price-sensitive town where customers need to feel our enthusiasm, and with a creative itch to scratch, I’ve developed a bit of a reputation for book ‘makes’. Hand-stitched baby shoes for fictional twins, edible meteorites, and window displays with moving elements are among the back catalogue of well-recommended titles. Mostly found swinging between literary fiction and picture books, I can also be found enthusing profusely via twitter, @Leilah_Makes.

Find out from Leilah the best ways to work with bookshops.
